the TEC starbase design with all the extra bits. A whole lot more Christmas-ey than the final product: Those blue bits were meant to be holographic billboards.

I wish the billboards stayed in the final product, as well as the dock designs. But I guess they removed the dock design because it looked closely related to Homeworld's ship Advanced Sensors Array upgrade, and Siera productions would have filed a lawsuit for taking a design into something that was already used eleven to nine years ago. So I guess no one gets what they wish would've stayed the same, anyway. =s
