The StoBzhan Drei is an assault wanzer equipped with a communication and control suite which includes (but does not consist exclusively of) a multi-lasercomm array mounted on the head. Its design caters to the commander who prefers to lead from the front.

Based on a Numsekar pic with some Vyzoz elements thrown in along with an assault loadout. The reason this is such a derivative is because i needed some practice. I'm going for something original next.

For those who have no idea what i'm talking about, play the Front Mission games.

Update: did some blemish control, altered the paintjob a bit.

Wow, nice rendition of the Numsekar. The head, though, does remind me of the Uisk(Jammer-class wanzers as of FM5) and its' derivatives. Still better than the old Numsekar head. :D

Front mission fanart FTW! I've been playing the DS release. God, when the AI gets egrets... i dunno what I'm going to do!

Anyway, great piece, very fun to look at. It's good reference for shading.

aaah, good ol' Zenith. it's practically the poster mech of the series. It'd look awesome rendered in PS3 hardware. Think they'll ever make a 6th?

Excellent job, I am a big fan of the series (and own all the mecha models) and you truly capture the design style perfectly.

Yep! Loved that wanzer when I first started playing FM4, and 5 furthered that love(although I have to dig through hard mode to get its' derivatives).

The FM team, from what I heard, wants to do an FM6, but Square wants them to help with the Final Fantasy over-exposure first. So now we're stuck with Nintendo DS remakes, Border of Madness being the latest. :D
