on october 31, 2009, my father died of hepatic encephalopathy caused by a dead liver after 30 years of heavy drinking. He died on a Samedi (Saturday), so if there was a day of dead, that was it. There was some irony there, i thought: everyone else was celebrating halloween, dancing to theme of Death and being very much alive... My father was the only one that actually died.
